Disco Deviance

The highly popular Disco Deviance label has been at the heart of the Disco resurgence over the past decade, and DD residents Dicky Trisco & Pete Herbert have been behind many of the imprints best-selling releases.

Together they also form a strong DJ partnership, which has toured around the globe melting the boundaries between disco, house and Italo in the constant search for the best possible party vibe.

The irresistible sound of their DJ sets has led to regular appearances at festivals like Festival No 6, Electric Elephant, The Garden Festival, Glastonbury, Lovebox, Vintage and Rockness in the UK, plus a constant touring schedule around Europe and further afield to Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, South America, China and South East Asia.

On line DJ mixes by the two are highly in demand, especially for the Disco Deviance monthly mix show, which receives a silly number of hits. Pete also holds down a highly popular weekly slot for Ibiza Sonica called Music For Swimming Pools.
Pete and Dicky co-run a number of labels together including their latest joint venture Paradise Row, which they use as an outlet for their own productions. They are also involved in a number of other top secret projects that we can’t mention here…but together they have released on more imprints than most people have had hot dinners! Or should that be gin and tonics??

They have also become in demand remixers and have been commissioned to do remixes for big name breakthrough dance producers like Tensnake as well as indie and pop legends like Belle and Sebastian and Bryan Ferry.

Pete is well known for his days as owner of the legendary Atlas Records in London, and for his successful releases under several monikers such as Reverso 68, LSB and Frontera whose sounds helped to define the ‘nu disco’ scene. Pete has also just launched his very own label Music For Swimming Pools.

Meanwhile, Dicky is one half of electrofunk and leftfield disco outfit Boogie Corporation alongside Calum Walker (Fresh n Low/Solar House). The double act will finally release their LP in 2017 after 12” releases on 2020 Vision and their own BC imprint back in the day. Dicky also runs a number of other underground music ventures including the 100% original disco imprint File Under Disco, the downtempo Back To The Balearics and respected House imprint Home Taping Is Killing Music.

Together Pedro & Dicky bring years of musical experience and knowledge to the party, and a desire to always rock the dance floor! And you will always find them in the kitchen at parties…
